I have been a follower of wildlife throughout my life and took up wildlife photography, as an amateur, seriously in 2009.

Birds, habitat, fenland, reed beds. flora and fauna ........they keep you grounded and in touch with reality, sadly,moving forward the reality is that we are destroying our environment daily, monthly and annually.  One day we may have nothing left for our descendants, what a legacy. 

I use a Nikon D300s with either a Nikon F4 300mm and 1.4 T.c. or a Sigma 150-500mm. I would love a Nikon 500mm F4 ....... maybe one day !

I hope that you enjoy my Blog which I only launched on 29th June 2014, at the time of writing this page I am staggered to note that I have already attracted over 750 hits ! that's a lot of people to disappoint.

So every time I go out I try to improve my technique ...... or lack of it ..... understanding of bird behaviour and of equal importance field craft.

Much of my work is from my local patch, Titchmarsh LNR in East Northamptonshire and surrounding areas.

All of the images within the site have been taken by me and are the subject of copyright, I do not generally offer them for sale, but if anybody might like one or two for personal or non-commercial use, then this would not be a problem on request.
