A Butterfly day at Wood Walton Fen last Sunday ..........

....... started with a Brimstone, one of the earliest Butterflies to be on the wing in springtime                                           and still going strong mid-August ..... 

                                 .......... quickly followed by a Gatekeeper ...........

                                        .......... and a  Meadow Brown.
