One from the archives.

I have been a bit busy this week so I had a look into my archives and selected the above image of a female Red Breasted Merganser on a very choppy day on the Fylde coast in Lancashire.

 A favourite long bodied sawbill of mine.

    Sadly one that I really want to photograph in flight but keeps eluding me. These and Goosander fascinate me

    Sawbills are lovely ducks Doug, it's always the same scenario, right place and right time, thats why we do it.
